Minimal-waste Inspired Outdoor Garden Wedding

We love weddings and Hailey + Ryan’s wedding definitely makes one of our favourites! People who know us know that we are environmentally consious, which is one of the many reasons why we love this inspiring wedding that Hailye and Ryan planned with minimal waste in mind. They managed to collect some greeneries from another bride, dried them up and used in all of the flower arrangements as well as the flowers from another previous wedding for the candle jars. And if you look closely, you’d notice some of the cute lavender tea light candle jars; they were also made by upcycled suppies. Such as the lavender that were collected from places that were going to get removed by landscaping companies. And for the jars, which is the more impressive story, Ryan ate 103 yogurts for the jars! The 103 yogurt jars were upcycled and used as the cute little tea light candle jars for their reception table. The minimal waste plan does not end here, the rustic, hand-painted ice-cream and the blanket signs were made by some old pallets, the wood pallets were stained by using old t-shirts, collected wooden crates from liquor stores instead of buying new ones, repurposed the lid of the liquor crate as a sign, used old ribbons from Hailey’s mom’s wedding instead of buying new, and also the name card wood stumps and table number holders were made from dead/fallen trees after a wind storm in Vancouver.
