Tina + Peter | Wedding Highlights | QE Park + Vancouver Aquarium
/We learned that Tina and Peter share a fond love for learning, conservation, wildlife, and travelling when we got to know them better. This dynamic duo had visited almost every major museum and aquarium in North America which is why they had decided to hold the reception a very special venue: the Vancouver Aquarium! The couple's combined love for conservation led them to pick the aquarium because they knew that all proceeds the institution earns will be put towards preservation and rehabilitation efforts.
Peter, the groom, took great pleasure planning out all the details and decorations of this wedding: it was held underground next to the beluga pools with beautiful sand and aquatic themed centerpieces on satin green tablecloths. Their wedding cake topper featured two adorable floating sea otters, one wearing pearls and one holding a badminton racket, commemorating the sporting activity where they first met. The wedding was so beautiful and dreamy and the beluga even danced with the newlyweds when the DJ started playing dance music! We had such a great time capturing the couple's special moment with all the other fish and marine animals. This shoot is definitely going down in our books as one of our best experiences at a wedding!
